Great question! I would really like people to have a chance to see the items. Would something so significant really belong to me? Not sure. If so, I would put it on loan to a large museum(s). If it was something like Viking loot, I might try to figure out lineage? Not sure if pieces like that could be traceable, but can you imagine the look on someone's face to have their great great great great great great great great grandfather's gold spitoon returned to them?

I think at first, though, I would roll around in it and laugh really loud.

Default Wow!!

That is a good question!! I recall reading about a guy a few years ago in europe that found a bunch of spanish coins on his property and the goverment came and took them from him claiming it was national treasure or something. That would suck!! Never heard anymore about it I would have liked to find out if he ever fought for the rights to it or not!! But if I had found some anchient treasure and I knew for a fact that it belonged to a family that was still living I would contact them and figure out what to do from there!! After finding a valuable treasure like that it would be painful to lose it and walk away with nothing to show for it.
