I just bought my XLT in the late spring. Summer is fading fast, into fall. I'm going to be going crazy, not being able to get out and detect this winter. I may invest in some ice picks, blow torches, and dynamite so I can blast through the frost. This is going to drive me nuts, because seldom do 3 days pass without me going out there. I'm gonna be going 3-4 months!!!! Anyone in one of those warm, and toasty climates, need a border for the winter lol? I do windows!

Coilcop - I recall reading that the grounds in wooded areas are usually warmer than non-wooded areas. Also, hit the tot-lots where the softer mulch (or pea gravel) is. Shouldn't be too hard to dig in the winter. Otherwise, you can bunk up here near the Gulf coast. My house needs a good painting!!!
