Default Silver coin # 85

Went to the same old park here in the village looking for silver and found it. Dug up a beautiful 1917 quarter, probably the best condition of any silver coin I've ever dug, and a 1949 dime. These 2 bring my yearly total of silver coins to 85. I also found $2.21 in clads and a dog tag dated 1916. I had hunted the same park on Saturday and found 4 silver coins, a quarter and 3 dimes as well as a few clads. I have been hunting this park for 5 years, I wasn't the first or the only person to hunt here yet it keeps producing very nice old coins. Never believe a place has been hunted out! Thanks for looking and HH

That had to have been dropped shortly after it was minted. Congrats!
