Default Nice morning in Ocean City

Hit the beach for 4 hours this morning. As I walked onto the beach I saw another woman with a MD!!!! I started walking her way, but she was headed the other direction with her guy digging for her so I just started my own detectin. Had to laugh at the smiles she was swinging, at least 6" off the ground!!! Went to a spot where she had dug a hole (left unfilled). I found a coin there. Hehe

Had my best $total for one day:

$7.59
76 coins (11 nickels but still no gold)
1 pair of sunglasses
1 kids toy
of course lots of the normal tinfoil and pulltabs.

It was a beautiful morning on the beach. Even had a dolphin sighting.

None that I am aware of. Go early. By 10:00 the beaches are starting to fill up. I like to hunt from about 7-11 am or after 6 pm.

Default Wow! 76 coins.

76 coins is a lot of scooping (considering the tabs, foil and bobby pins you have to scoop on the way). Congrats.
Doesn't it feel great to follow another detector and make a score? I found a quarter in the sand today in the footprint of another MD user.
I usually hit the beach from 5 AM to 8 AM because of the parking charge starting at 8 AM.
Here's hoping you have continued good hunting. Don't you just love the beach? The smell of clad on the beach on Sunday morning...
