Green machine brings smile to lady's face
From the land of the Bluenose...was approached by Anne who is a nurse in the emergency department where I work. She explained that her family and she had been toboggining at a hill and that her son had lost his new cell phone which he had received at Christmas and would I have a look for it. So after my shift it was home for a quick change, grab the better half and away we went. After a half hour drive we arrived at Anne's and headed to the hill which was a trek as the snow in parts was rather deep. Cranked up the old Garrett which had been put away ready to be shipped out for repairs. Sounded terrible as I couldn't get the chatter to stop. New coil on her but something is amiss. Three steps and two swings and voila! Couldn't believe how quick I found it. Anne was delighted to say the least.

Oh yes
I remember Leslie, He's good with his detector and he can compose a great story of one of his outings Some of the best I've read. Thanks for stopping over Leslie. You have a good Treasure Hunting forum also but I can't find your link, can you add it here for us?

From the land oftheBluenose....tried again a photo upload with no success. Enjoying your forum sir...great bunch here. Would have liked to post the whole story on the Monesarery dig and the one I did recently on thehistory of Melville Island in the Northwest Arm of Halifax harbour. tried theold cut and paste with no success either.
