Default Hunting the Beaches of Colorado...

...but I DIDN'T say they had an ocean view!

Since my wife wanted to go where the diggin' is easy (she has severe rheumatoid arthritis in her wrists and ankles) we packed a picnic breakfast and lunch and hit the little state park a few miles away - one that has a lake and a swim beach...

We found:

3 Quarters
4 Dimes
12 pennies
1 car key
1 pair of sun glasses
1 metal Levi's button
1 corkscrew
403 pull tabs - lol!

The coins were plain 'ol clad - and the rest was junk - but we had a great time finding all of it! I'm especially glad that Peggy (my wife) has taken an interest in my hobby...it's great to share this with my best friend!

Tomorrow is a "serious" hunting day - have a couple of locations in mind that will hopefully kick start my silver collection...HH to all - and enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend!

Shawn

Consider yourself lucky. My wife wants nothing to do with the hobby. Of course, neither do the kids....LOL Anyway, best of luck and enjoyment!

Hey Shawn, that's awesome that you guys found a place that she can hunt, too. Noelle only goes with me to hunt if we're:

A) Camping

or

B) Near an ocean or some other place that's pretty

Congratulations Shawn on the finds, with the price of aluminum, you'll have a small fortune soon with those pulltabs.
