Default My First Wheat

Had a chance to spend several hours detecting this morning.

Went to an older section of town, where there are a couple of old factories and commercial buildings, either condemned or for sale.

Detected on the strip of grass between the sidewalk and street, and also the strip between the sidewalk and the buildings.

Found one clad dime, 6 memorial cents, and my first wheat penny - a 1947-D. Sorta made my day :)

Oh, and some bottle caps and small pieces of unidentifiable debris. Can't forget those!

I still have another 100 yards along the same street that I can go over, as well as the whole strip on the other side of the street.

Congrats on your first wheatie...keep at it. Those spaces between the street and sidewalk pay off.
