Default Riding dirty with the buffalo nickel

Today I went back to an old house in north carolina. So far I have found a 1926 chauffeur's license, a Lone Ranger token from Merita, about 15 weaties and some clad dimes and nickels and pennys. The weaties were from a range of 1925 to some where in the 40's, so there has to be some silver here right? I got off work about one'oclock and started mding about 2:00. Started off finding junk so I went around the house looking for a place that I could get in to something and beside a fence got a good signal down about 4 inches dug it up and it was what looked to me like a fishing lure. So I put it in my pouch and went on hunting, like a kid I was having fun first day mding since about a week ago but anyway went around the other side of the house and started finding weaties. The guy that owns the land and the house drove up and I talked to him for about 10 minutes and got some good info,he told me that when he was a kid that his parents would have his family members over and they would have cookouts on the side of the house that I was finding the weaties on. By the way he is 84 years young. So I made my grid and started swinging and before long ended up with three weaties and yes my first buffalo nickel of the year.I know its not but a 1925 buffalo but I like to find buffalo nickels and merc's. The silver is still no where to be found but the old guy did say the next time that I come that he would take me to an older house that was on his land that is now torn down but existed when he was a kid so i'm hoping late 1800's.All in all a good day to detect and found some cool stuff too.Oh forgot to mention the ear ring that I found that look silver and has some kind of stone in it looks like a diamond but probaly fake, I will have to find out later. Will post the picks on the next post. HH guys
