Default A first for me

I found the CW bullet on the left last evening at 8 in. Showed in the zinc range in th TID (as all my bullets have). It is the first .69/.70 I have found, boy is it heavy! You can see the size differece compared to the .57 on the right that I found a month ago. They were within 10ft of each other. The patina on them is more brown when compared to the white patina on the other few I 've dug in other locations in the yard. Something about the soil I guess.
Maybe my yard is not totally tapped out

Very nice finds. Congrats. Could you imagine getting hit with one of those? No wonder so many CW soldiers war maimed or killed during that war. Those types of bullets are so primitive now, compared to what we use.

I bet gettin' hit with one of those would feel like an elephant runnin' you over, it's so dull and heavy.

Ouch!
