Default Great find

gotta love that silver.
But a cut finger in the field is a concern. I would highly recommend Tea Tree Spirit from Australia (aborigine folk medicine). It is available in many pharmacies. It is the greatest antiseptic ever found. It will speed the healing too.
I agree with Julieburger about the latex glove. Although when I tried just the finger it came off soon after starting the hunt. So I just use the whole glove.
Please take care of the finger. You will need it to count the silver you are going to find.
Good hunting.

Congrats on the very nice Franklin half! I know you were very happy to see it.

Sorry to hear about the cut. Yea do make sure to care for it. I make sure to wear gloves when I hunt. After my Hypodermic find last week I am glad I do, Beale.

Thanks everyone! The only thing in the wallet was the coins, so no way of knowing how long it had been there. I did clean up the clads and the newest coin is 1968. I'll just have to use my imagination and say it has been there for over 30 years. On a side note, found a 1952 wheatie in my change from the gas station last night Thanks again for looking and HH!

Nice finds Mauthe and congratulations on the silver, but be careful about leaving the non-silver club, I hear they're a rough bunch and don't take kindly to people trying to leave

Also, good advice mom.....oops, I mean Julie

Guido just called me and told me somethin' about somebody. Do we need to take a drive, Mauthe? 'Cause it sounds like we need to take a drive...

CONGRATS on the silver!!! Hey, you know, technically, if all you did was dust off some dirt from a wallet...not sure that's diggin'. hehe

Naw, you're definitely OUT of the club. It's not my club, by the way, it was the wonderful idea of History Junkie, so I think he should be the one to do the official out kickin'.
