Default Fairgrounds-2 HRS.=50 Coins-Some Old Ones!

I went to the old fairgrounds again, the 3rd trip there, after work! When I got there, there was a guy detector across the field from me! He better asked the landowner, because the land does not belong to the fairgrounds.
I went on with my business, I knew who he was, but I care less. I was finding the ole clad stuff, when he walked over, he bitched the ways I was digging!
"You going to kill the grass that way",(I dig in a semi-circle flipped the sod over and find the coin, cover the hole up, riffle the grass and I'm done!
He said, I hope "U" don't dig like that the park(Midland), he was refering, I said how "U" dig, he reply with a knife and ice pick! I was so fustrated I was going to punch him OUT!!! I said I was doing this for 39 years, what's the problem here!!!

Back to the main story- I was doing pretty good when he finally left, I was doing the area, 20' x 20', I found 4 wheats, Buffalo nickel, and some pennies and a bunch of other clad.

My finds in a 2 hour period were:

29>Pennies
4>Wheats-42',44',45',52-all wheats were 5" deep
1>Buffalo Nickel at 6" deep-too much corrsion to identify!
7>Dimes
8>Quarters
1>Canada Penny-1975
2-hrs.=50 coins=$3.09 Mr.Silver rules again!!!

Default a good man, a good machine

give a good man a good machine and the silver jumps out of the ground.

i hope he comes here to read the post perry. WTG...

i think you showed your true grit by not punchin him like he deserved. god knows i have had enough run in of my own to know how it feels. shoot there have been times when i even thought how long would it take me to dig a hole deep enough to hide him in. then realise it would take a long time with a trowel and these kinda guys arent worth the sweat.

keep doing what yer doing and diggin the way ya dig. to me the proof is in the puddin.

Congrats my friend. happy huntin
