Default Button or other?

I found this item today. I looks to be a button or a pin. I got a couple of qick pics. I will have my wife take some tommorow. She is much better with the camera.

Details of item: Two swords crossing throug a horses saddle.

No matter what it is I like it, Beale.

Very interesting. Sounds like a calvary button or pin! Good luck on id'ing it. Let us know if you find out!

Are the stirrups inverted with the sword through them? Can't tell by the photo.

Hey Pappy it does look kina like they are to me. I had to go get the button/pin and look.
