Talking 104 Coins and my first gold ring

Mauthe and I went to hunt the school that is just chalked full of clad on Saturday. I found 104 coins and two rings. one of the rings was junk, the other was my first gold ring. A mens 10k ring with a small diamond on each side. My coins broke down like this: 1 Canadian "looney" Dollar, 13 Quarters, 37 Dimes, 12 Nickels, 41 Pennies. For a total of $8.96 in clad. Mauthe was not skunked either he walked out with 66 coins. So Mauthe and I pulled out 170 coins from one school. The funny thing is no wheats from a school where both of us had gotten wheats before. I did find a 41 nickel so I know there will be more old coinage after I finish the clad, i put serious hurt on it this Saturday.

Thanks guys. The jewler states the stone on top is hematite and the stones on the sides are clear spinels. Retail value of $300. Cleaned and polished secondary market value $100-175. Probably gonna keep it. Thanks!

That's a nice ring, Inspector. Worth keeping and even having it sized for your fingers! Congrats on your first gold!

You have found a great ring there. I am sure your heart was pounding when you saw what you dug out of that ground! You did especially well in your coins too!
