Default first mercury dime!

I was hunting the front yard very close to the main highway and received a very strong signal (upper 80's). I dug down to about 4 inches and wow, silver. I also found a wheat 1957 penney along with some clad and some junk. Great day to hunt with temps in the 70's and low humidity. Found all this with the F-75 in JE mode with discr. set for 10 and sensitivity around 80. The thing chatters quite a bit but I just dug the strong repeatable signals.

Smile Congratulations on first merc

Great finds, and in your front yard? Don't get too close to the highway!
Way to go finding silver.
You may find some really interesting finds by a highway. People throw a lot of things out the window for a lot of different reasons.
Hard to tell what you will find amidst the trash.
Happy hunting.
