finally-the grass strip pays
After much beleif that silver had eluded me at my 100 year old house-1 foot from the street-6" down-im diggin and up comes two silver looking quarters and a brown nickle and dime-54' nickle,57' dime + 2 shiny 64 quarters-cleaned em up with some silver cleaner
 .I was so excited.Im finally in the silver.Found a strohs can with the old pull tab top.Maybe thats how the change dropped  but whatever-my next door neighbor came by to see what I was doin-and I was able to pull the two silvers out and show him-timing was impecable and I think I sold him on me poppin his yard.Sometimes when it rains it pours.And every cloud does have a "silver" lining. The grass strip so far-1912,1916 wheat, two 64' quarters and various clad woo-flippin hoo

My old house (built 1889) produced my first silver find, a 1943 merc dime.
I love the way silver comes out of the ground all nice and shiny. Keep looking, there's more. Gary
