Default Lucky Day ? @ Union Park

lucky-day-union-park-up10-07-002.jpg

lucky-day-union-park-up10-07-001.jpgNot much luck finding anything, then came the horseshoe, then the coinage, the best a 1952-S silver quarter. I guess horseshoes are lucky indeed. HH everyone. p.s. the clip has a 9-1-14 patent date.

Smile Lucky horeshoe

Well, maybe you should mount the horseshoe on your metal detector? That should give you exercise with the extra weight!
Good finds - silver is always good stuff.
In the second picture in the bottom right by the nickel - that piece of metal is part of a garter belt or other device that holds up stockings. There would be a matching round piece that would fit in the large hole with a smaller part inside that would slide down the slot locking the stocking top in place. Not sure that people would recognize it in this day and age of panty hose.
