Default Not a good day....

I dug for a little while next to the main road today. Found only non-wheat pennies. The down side is that when I finished, I set my detector in the garage where I thought it would be safe. I went to the horse barn to take my wife something to drink. We both heard a loud bang. We thought it was just the contractors across the street working and stood there for a little while. When I returned to the garage, I found the source of the bang. Apparently, an aluminum ladder had fallen across the lower arm of my detector. The problem with this is that that ladder was nowhere near my detector when I sat it down.
So, I think I have a ghost or someone across the street is not happy with us. Why do I think this? One afternoon, my wife and I came home to find that the contractors who were building a home across the street had placed one of their for sale signs in our front yard. We promptly removed the sign and placed it (not in an upright position) back on the correct property. To break the lower arm on an F75 requires not just an aluminum ladder falling across it but some substantial force, as even I can't bend it with my bare hands. So I am suspecting foul play here somewhere.
To end on a positive note, I called the good folks at Kellyco and explained my problem to them. They were extremely courteous and offered to send me a lower arm at no cost to me. I am extremely happy with the service I have received from Kellyco and would highly recommend them to anyone out there with an interest in MDing. Well I have vented my frustration. Sorry if it ran too long.

awww!! I'm so so so so sorry that happened! I'm glad we could take care of you, but that blows for sure. And while your machine is fixable, I'm worried that you can't trust those closest to your home...

I would say that's actually pretty good luck! Hey, at least the control box didn't get broken, AND you're getting a new lower arm for FREE. Definitely could be worse. Also, nobody was harmed by the falling ladder.

Good day, David.

...maybe your Ghost is not a " Down To Earth " type,,, and was up on the ladder trying to get back to Heaven.

Sorry about the damage to your detector, but KellyCo comes through again for another customer.....

It's great to hear that the vendor took such good care of you. Maybe it was just an accident but I'm glad you will be back in business.

It takes all kinds, and there you have it, those who broke it and those who are taking care of it (and for free yet)

Those across the street may not be too happy seeing you back in the dirt and may plan a replay, be careful.
