Default Forest Finds

Heyeveryone, hope you all had a good day! I took a vacation day today so I could have 4 off in a row. My hubby is on vacation also. So I decided to take my hubby to a state forest an teach him how to detect. He did great too! He kept finding a lot of pulltabs and was getting frustrated. I explained to him that if you want to find gold u have to dig them up. Well not 2 hours into detecting he yells out "I found a ring." I was like your kidding me~not! So I went and looked at it and sure enough it was a ring~.925 with 3 stones. I wanted to shoot him, lol. . All in all it was a great day. He could have detected all night long. The last pic is my finds at the tot lot for a quick 1/2 hr. I took afew nice pics of the area we were detecting in, hope you all like pics! HH!!

Congratulations to your husband for the nice ring. Beautiful area to detect in also, only makes sense that there would be good finds there.

Looks like you did ok in the tot lot, do I see gold?

Looks like another detector is in your family's future

No gold, I think it is the lighting, not silver either.
