Default Not much today, just one ring...

Got out for a bit today as the sun came up and before the honey-do list was active. Hit a local park/ball-field that I haven't worked much lately. Picked up a small handful of clad, a pin back, and a ring. It appears to be only gold-plated, and I suspect the stone isn't real either. No bother -- it's the best I found! Maybe tomorrow I'll find a bit more.

Much more preferable than getting skunked!

Something other than clad is a bonus!

Don't be disappointed, I've found over 70 rings, not a one with a diamond, a lot of them smashed, bent, stoneless, but they are great finds. wish you many more finds.

Don't get me wrong... I love finding rings. This is number 33 for me in the last 1.5 years. Most of mine have bee either silver or gold, several with stones. Some very nice. This one was disappointing in that when I found it, at first glance, it looked to be gold... turned out to just be plated when I cleaned it up. I'm sure a plated ring does not have a real stone in it either... But heck, I'd dig stuff like this over boring pennies any day!

HH!

Well congrats on the ring. If I found that I would be jumping up and down.

Sounds like a very good day to me, Beale.
