Default Tot Lot Finds Again

Hey everyone. I found the majority of finds last Sunday, just now getting around to posting them.. I went to a tot lot that is like 1/10th of a mile from my house. I decided to do the field, the chips were pretty bare. The field has a ton of quarters so I decided to just find them for the time being. I ended up with almost 4$ just in quarters. My total for the day was about $4.35 or so. While detecting this field I got a really strong zcint/pulltab hit, so I thoughtI better check it out. I dug a plug, and there is this huge silver ring staring up at me! Mexico .925! Cool. Off I go. I get another beep, and it is saying .50c. I never get a consistent 50c reading so I dug. It was this huge dice. I detected another 15 mins. or so and went home, very happy with my finds.

On Tuesday I went to another lot, and only had 20 minutes. I didn't find any clad, but I found the Necklace, first one that is decent anyway. I tried to get a pic of the markins but they wouldn't show up. They are VERY small. On one side it says .925, and on the other side said ITALY. On the opposite side of the clasp it said in capitol letters GLO. Way cool. Then I found the 1944 wheat, my husband found the other at Cumberland Farms on the counter. I found a 1951 D today! Anyway then I found the cheap kid ring. I went to a school up by where I work and the candle charm was the only find. Hope everyone gets out this weekend!! HH!

Smile Neat finds!

Strange, the silver I have found is either Mexico 925 or made in Italy 925. Don't we make silver things in the States? Not that I care, as long as we find them.
Really nice finds. I have had silver bracelets (open, not clasped) sound off like bobby pins (ferrous!) and rings sound off like pop tabs. I found a silver pendant on a silver plated brass necklace that the machine couldn't make up its mind between bobby pin, pull tab or dime. Guess that's why we dig everything.
Happy hunting - hope there is lots more silver (and gold) out there for you.

Wow! You are cleaning up! $4 in quarters is a great haul! And silver to boot. Looks like you are doing just fine!
