Default Today at the Elementary School

Well, the "wood chip" detector must of been at it again, as I went through the wood chip playground and found, just a penny, and quarter, but he/she never goes into the grass and digs. I pull out a gold ring, but when I got home, and put my glasses on, it says Avon around the interior of the band, oh well, nice looking ring though, and in good shape. I also found a heart-shaped charm, two zipper bottoms (kids are rough on zippers), hope they were from their coats and not their pants. Found a weird conical object very heavy like a fishing sinker, but it isn't one of those, 5 quarters, 3 dimes, 3 nickels, and 20 pennies, every minute of it was fun, especially with temps. in the 50s, great day to be out. Wish everyone well, and great finds!

......hmm, that may explain why some kids wear their pants halfway down their rears, and all this time I thought it was a fad .

Nice finds on the coins, charm and ring . Rings are always nice to find and Avon did make some nice jewelry.

Sounds good and like you had a great day to hunt!

There seems to be some psychology in detecting. Some detectorists only hunt within the physical limits that they perceive will produce finds. I will hunt the areas outside of what I consider to be a "perceptual boundary" because some detectorists won't bother with those areas and they do produce! (That's after I hunt the obvious ones first!)
