Congratulations on the finds, glad that the shot's didn't keep you down! Maybe next time you can give your wife a nice pair of gloves to hunt with, hate to see her stop for blisters.

Congratulations also for your firar LA silver .

Final, nice finds and SILVERRRRR. I hope the migrains go away. Way to get out there. Could the one token possibly be for an arcade?

I do believe the one token to be one from an arcade, since it reads "For Replay Only" on the back. The site where we found the tokens at is site to street fairs on a yearly basis from as long as I can remember. I thought maybe tokens could have been used at the street fairs - although I cannot recall what they would be used for since it seems tickets are used for all things at fairs.

We just got back today from Grand Isle. Angel and I metal detected part of the beach yesterday for a couple of hours. The first find I dug up definately looks to be a silver quarter, although I have to put it through electrolysis to make sure. I also found some medical scissors - you know, the ones that are angled in a weird way, I guess for cutting bandages. I didn't find much else there except for fishing weights and other fishing gear. I hunted in All Metal on the Minelab Explorer SE. I dug every signal and there wasn't much trash on the beach. Angel used the Ace 250 and she kept telling me that it would give signals like crazy - but she couldn't find anything when she started digging. She got discouraged easily and we put the detectors up and decided to spend the rest of the day in the water catching hermit crabs for the children - only for a wave to come and knock the mesh bag out of my hand. We were never able to find that bag and now 30+ hermit crabs are trapped in a mesh bag in the Gulf - hopefully able to get out and resume with their hermit lives!
