purina chicken feed tag
I will post a picture soon-but in description:I found a 1" by 1" brass or copper key tag in the shape of a burlap sack.On the front it says "sell purina chicken feed" and the back says "if key 932 is found please return to ralston purina,st.louis,mo for reward". I have written purina and a friend who works for purina and have not gotten a response.First off-no one feeds chickens in my neighborhood and secondly-why would a feed salesman be carrying an important key? My house was built in 1906 but was farm land previous to this.Anyone have any ideas?

No idea on what key would have been so important...but a very interesting find - and I'd be very interested to hear what you find out after you find someone from Ralston Purina that knows what the story is...nice find!
