Default Hurricane Approaching...

never went to the beach during a high wind storm, but I will be tomm. I will be out there bright and early. The storm is missing us, but winds expected to gust to 60 MPH on the coast, which means waves will be high, and if there is anything dragged in, I'm on it! I like crazy weather anyway, as my other hobby is weather, and have weather station at my house. Love extreme weather, planning a tornado chase for the spring.

Have fun and be safe!! I love love LOVE the beach during/around a hurricane - the wind, the clouds, it's crazy if it's just something mild kinda passin' ya by. The real threatening ones can be terrifying though.

And after it passes the shore should have some AWESOME stuff on it!! I'm jealous!! It passed us wayyyy off and we still got some awesome winds from it. Just be safe!! And goodluck!!

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!

Good luck hunting. If Jim Cantori shows up, you better leave the beach. He knows where the good storms are going... Buster...

Talking I'm jealous!

I am super curious about what you will find after the storm passes. Are you on the East or West coast? The weather channel is saying the East coast will be eroded.
Please post anything you learn and all you find. I am seriously considering a trip to the gulf or Forida next year during hurricane season.
When I lived in Texas City, TX I looked forward to hurricane season. When one was passing I would go out on the jetty and fish. Some really magnificent fish would come into harbor.
Happy hunting and great luck!!!
