Default Gold again

I couldn't face a boring afternoon of TV or working on the computer so I split for the beach. If nothing else I could check the new time for sunset.
I checked out a beach that has yielded well in the past, but there were several wedding photographers there today.
I turned back and went toward Main Beach. I took the first steps down to the beach by the gazebo.
When I got to the bottom of the steps I kissed my wife for good luck, turned on the ACE 250 and lowered it to the sand. Immediately I got a signal that I thought was a pop tab. I made one shallow scoop and the signal went away from the sand. I sifted the sand out and there was a ring. I didn't think too much of it because there was no mark on the inside of the band and put it in my pouch.
But still, there was a ring on my first sweep. This would have to be a good hunt even if I stopped.
Later a person was quizzing me about metal detecting and my finds for the day. I pulled out the ring and she was impressed. She said she recognized it as a Pakistani design and that it would only be 24KT gold by custom. When I got home and looked at it the identification was believable.
I also found a large metal heart with a red anodize and an engraved name, address and phone number, a 9/16 Husky Pro wrench, a cartoon toy tracked back hoe/shovel called "Benny" (from Cars???), 3 quarters, 3 dimes, 2 nickels and 10 pennies.
Not bad considering the very slight number of people I saw at the beach. The weekend didn't pan out like the weatherman predicted. Today (Sunday) had an onshore breeze and lots of fog most of the day.
But I got another gold ring!!!
Happy hunting!

Nice ring!! I'm missing my 7/16th wrench in my Husky set. I'm going to have to detect the yard to find it.

That is a very nice ring John from what sounded like a great hunt.

Great ring...24k? ...must be really soft and easy to bend out of shape if a person isn't careful...WTG!

Now you're talkin', John! That is a beauty! I imagine it has a nice weight to it. Glad to see your beach time is paying off!

I can't decide if you're the best, or lucky, or both - either way, rock on! That's awesome
