Default 10 hour hunt today..Whew

Decided to get it out of my system for the start of hunting season.. I hunted for ten hours today. 1st a picture of an old church that was used as a hospital during the civil war. I did not detect there. Graves all around it.


Today I found
27 quarters
25 dimes
5 nickels
68 pennys
6 wheaties 48 D, 41,40,39D,44D and a no date. all in bad shape.
total $10.18
buttons, costume jewlery, bullets, roofing tacks, and whatnots.

All in all a great day hunting. I'm pooped. LOL

that is a good spot to hunt that church ,subin a hospital those bullets and buttons are nice,id say some where close to that church is a trash pit full of ole medicine bottles clothing(buttons) and stuff back then was thrown away any old privy holes on the site?,but that being a historical site? i dont know about probing and diggin.10 hrs swing a coil,id need some of bills meds ...creek

That looks like a hot spot for CW confederate relics. Congrats on the finds and hope you get to detect it. If there are woods behind it check for a bottle dump.

Kent, That is pretty awesome place to md. Even though you did not get the silver you were looking for, those buttons and stuff are pretty awesome. Hope you get to do some more digging around that area. Good Luck!
