Default Nice Score, And A freebie.

Was walking the trail to get to my detecting spot and found this really nice $30 dollar flashlight. It is LED. That was all I found except for $3.51 In clad. On the way home I stopped at Sunocco to fill up with gas and I found this 1870 Half Penny in the Need A Penny Take A Penny Tray. Cool enough. What is the coolest coin you ever got from the "penny tray"?

Here is the specs I found on the flashlight from the manufactures website.

V2 Triplex, White Beam
DetailsCloverleaf Reflector System
3 high-quality LEDs
5 7/16-inch length
Includes sheath ModelLL7547Price:$28.80

Those half pennies can be worth quite a bit of money. I pulled an indian head penny out once. Like the flashlight.

Congrats on the flashlight! That is a nice one. The 1/2 coin is a great find, I need to start checking those pennie trays, Beale.

Funny you should ask Goldfever.... I have been so lucky since I started this hobby. I won one of the group buys, won a pinpointer at a hunt and a set of headphones. Had my XLT given to me which I got repaired for 92 bucks, I have met so many great folks in this short time, and a coworker brought me a 1896 IH penny he got in change last week. So even though I didn't find it in the penny place, he did. And just yesterday my plant manager brought in a coinmaster 4D that his father used when he was a boy and gave it to me. It looks great and is still working fine. Before I started this hobby I felt like I never got lucky and ever since I have been blessed. JC

PS Love that light

Nice flashlight, I always look in the penny tray but am yet to find anything good, congrats on your finds, it doesn't always have to be in the ground to be a good find.
