Default more muskets

Just seem to keep finding more, as I picked up 8 yesterday. These were all the larger size .69 caliber and above. Seem to find so many different sizes, some with a sproue, and some without, some a tad out of round, some perfect, some smooth on the outside, some with somewhat jagged edges. The one thing that keeps coming up, I found yet another button, the significance of which, all these buttons are exactly the same, except like the musketballs are different sizes. They don't seem like the uniform buttons I've seen others find, they are all kind of generic, no design, with a flat and smooth surface.

Man those musket balls are a great find! What area of the country are you in? Just wondering as to how they all got in the ground? I would imagine a battle in your area, Beale.
