Sounds like a nice start to your collection. Bottle digging is as fun as MD. I have been digging bottles for about 9 yrs and have quite a collection myself. Look around at the prices and values of bottles you will be surprised at the worth of some. they also make a nice display to show off to friends. Good Luck

Default Bottle Collecting

Collecting and selling bottles can be very rewarding. I used to make a weekend living selling bottles, ink wells, insulators....Mostly Civil War bottles.

Thanks for that bottle link, what a wealth of Info that was...ty-ty.

I also pulled a
Vintage Clear Glass Quart Milk Bottle - Since 1852 stamped on it. It also has this weird dent or crease in the bottom. Looks like it was made that way.as if it toucked somthing hot enough to melt a little dent. I think it from the old dairy we had here up untill 1980. The best Milk you ever drank! Im thinking there a good number of these laying around.. it will mean more to me than to someone else..

hurmm I see i going to need a Storage Building...

Thanks again for the link and info.. I havent dated the lil bottle yet.. but Im guessing it is 50 yrs old max. if that old.. they had that Pat. untill 2003 it had the C & L over lap mark on the bottom.

this crap is addictive~
