Default Big Silver Sunday ... Woohoo!

It rained most of the day today but was able to get out about an hour before dark. I decided to check one of the farm fields to see if it had been plowed and boy am I glad I did. The field surrounds an abandoned farmhouse and had just been plowed the day before with a light rain that settled the dust. My first signal turned out to be a 1943 Walking Liberty Half ... woohoo! I also found 3 wheaties (1920, 1945, 19??), a heavy metal disc whatzit about the size of the half, a square nail, an old cold cream bottle, and a few other whatzits. It was a great hour of detecting!

Exclamation Wow!

A 1943 silver half makes for a fantastic month - or year! Whatta a find! Glad to see the plowed fields working out for you. Congratulations on such a wonderful find. I would have a hard time driving back home because I would be floating on air.
Happy hunting!

Nice hunting, way to go, I had found a cold cream container just like that up in Deleware a few years back. The lid gave off a quarter signal. Congrats again...Buster....
