Default Slim Pickins For 1st Week Of December

Got chance to spend a total of about 4 hours detecting last week. I went back to an old farm site that I have hit hard in the past, a new yard here in my neighborhood (disappointing ... only one old coin which was a wheatie), and about an hour at the local elementary school). I was hoping to find a ring at the elementary school but it turn out to be memorial cents everywhere. All in all is was some fun hunting though not too impressive on the finds. Some of the best finds were 3 wheaties (1939, 1940, 1955), a small military button, a 1953 dog vaccination tag, an Atlantic Metal Co tag, and a nickle sized disc with two button type holes in it and what looks like K82 imprinted on it ( anyone found anything like this?). Anyway, Thanks for looking.

Smile Wheaties are nice!

Congratulations on finding the wheaties.
I have found some disks like your K82 at the beach. They are usually brass with designs that look like something from India. I think they are from bracelets that have a string through them (two holes). But yours looks a lot older than the stuff I have found.
I have seen numbers like K82 used as model numbers. I found a 10K gold ring that had a K72 model number.
Slim pickin's are still good. As long as you are getting hits you can always dream while you dig.
Happy hunting:snowman:
