Default Antique Bank Silver Hord

It may not technically be MD find, but it is worth a look. While running cable in the basement of my mother's house for her HDTV that she got herself for Xmas. I found a antique metal bank sitting on a support beam of the floor in the drop ceiling of the downstairs. The bank was below ground level so it was kinda like buried, but not really. The pictures tell the story. All coins are silver no clad. Have a look.

Gary

That looks like a tremendous find to me. As a collector of Half Dollars, that sure made my day to see those pretty coins. Thanks and well done. JC

I used to have a bank like that, but I don't remember burying it in your basement!

Very nice finds :candycane:
