Default First Hunt of 08 And I Caught A Keeper!

I had the afternoon off and couldn't stand it any longer ... I needed to get out for a hunt and It was down to the last hour of the day. I decided to go to an old farm house site that I've hunted pretty hard over the past year ... just because it was only about a two mile drive. I had my hopes up because there had been about an inch of rain a couple of days ago and the last time I was at this site it was bone dry. In about an hour before dark I found a nice buckle, a D ring, a undateable Indian Head (only my third ever and my first coin find of 2008), and a couple of other relic items. It was a fun hunt and the IH made my day! I am going to soak the IH in peroxide and maybe get the date but it's in bad shape ... anyway ... thanks for looking and Happy New Year to everyone!
