48 pennies is a hard digging day! It all adds up in the long run, good hunt, Beale.

I know what you mean about the finding pennies. Sounds like my day at the park yesterday with my Ace250 which didn't want to quit going off each second. Trash and pennies :( The clad sure does add up though. I haven't even added mine up yet. Did find a wheatie though. Hard digging! It'll get better though and at least it's warm enough or us South Carolinians to hunt, right?

You looked down and seen a pound of coins on the concrete? hehe... Well while at the beach, walked past a nice swimming pool and the concrete was a sandy color. I looked at my husband and said, "around that pool looks like a good place to hunt". Now the problem with that is... "I was serious"!!!! I was told really quickly by my husband and children that this was concrete and NOT sand around that pool. Now where in the world have I ever seen sand around a nice pool like that? hhmmmm.... LMBO.

I belive color can be added to the concrete.
The pound of coins were in the dirt beside the building the whole lenght of the drive thru at McDonalds.
Yes, warmer better for now Dixi. Seeing as we have Christmas machine, I cant wait to put on the Shorts and T-shirt. Then again.. the grass start growning. Most Places are easy to hunt while the grass is dormant. Why cant I just make the coins jump into my pocket as i walk along..

Nice finds1 they all add up quickly! I keep finding old age tokens (mills) in my yard. Takes ten to make a penny.
