Default Todays story

Hello all My girlfriend and i had nice weather and a great hunt today. Went to visit my sister in law and took the md with us . My brother passed on last year but we are still family. Bro lost his wedding band about 40 yrs ago in an old garden area and i was trying to find it for her. Didn't find it yet but not giving up on it. The best part of the whole day was that we found a 1945 merc and an old sterling ring with a turquoise set. Sister in law was amazed at what we found. Also found about $.35 in clad and the handle of a 1950s capgun . Gave it all to s.i.l. I'm not sure but i may have gotten her into this also. The whole time s.i.l. was swinging the md ,my girl friend and i were grinning at each other and saying {shes hooked] If everyone else had half as good a day as we had today the whole world was blessed.lol to you all. steve

Hey a silver coin is a great find! The Mercury dime is IMO one of the best looking coins ever, congrats! Good luck with the ring, Beale.

Smile Congrats on the merc!

Wow, a merc and a 925 ring in one hunt. Bet the SIL is hooked forever on MD. Considering the finds you made it is not unreasonable to think the ring you are looking for has not sunk out of range. The sink rate seems to be very small in the area you are hunting.
Good luck finding the ring.
Happy hunting to you and SIL
