todays finds 01-07-08

Great weather here in South Carolina here it is January and 74 degrees. today Gordon had more appts. We headed out to be at the first one 9:00 am Well the med tech was sick and had to cancel his appt. Did not have to be to next one til 11:30. Headed to Aiken stopped at an Old general store. Found this Button, lot's of junk too many poor signals moved on. Next stop Diamonds bar with a gravel parking lot. $1.76 in clad mostly pennies and dimes one Quarter. Moved on to the Marlboro station another dirt parking lot Bar. A nose ring, A yale lock with key rusted badley, $.90 in clad and this 1/2 dollar. off to Gordon's appointment. Then hit Langley Pond. Hardly a signal anywhere on the beach area. Did scrape up 2 dimes and 4 pennies a fishing weight. Hit the tot lot and found a Blank 22 bullet. gordon was exhausted and we decided to head to the Car I looked down and saw this rock it is a perfect heart.
Gordon managed to find $.96 in clad Great day.

Still a good day of hunting. The gravel lots are hard to dig for sure. Still you both did good...Buster....

WOW you had a busy day of detecting. It was warm here too, 63 degrees. Too bad it won't last. Good Luck the next time you guys get to MD.. Go for the gold!!

Wow - that was a busy day of hunting. I really, really like the rock. That is a neat find. I can't imagine digging in a gravel parking lot. It is bad enough in wet sand with high pebble content, but packed gravel must be H-E-double hockey sticks!
Glad to hear you are having nice weather and can hunt. It's always fun. Bet the half rang a good tone. Can't wait to hear what Pappy has to say about the button.
