Default It was hard to keep from Laughing:

I went off to work this morning was done by noon. I slipped off to a new spot, spent about 20 mins looking for a start place. Right off, I noticed the ground was allot more quite than I had figured. I was more scanning than looking the first couple mins. I headed to the closest water fountain. Yup the MXT would not shut up, normal- I looked down at my machine is was saying 50¢ and 25¢ over and over! Dug one, then another then two laying together, then dimes and more dimes! I started to smile; trying to keep my composure. Many folks walking around. Smiles give away to full blown laughs -I kept inside. I dug another then another quarter. Most too dirty to see the dates. However I could tell the were on the clad side of age. However I wasn't sure because they were so many. That's was a lot of fun and my biggest haul todate. $19.84 and all of it came inside a 10ft circle out of maybe 3 to 5 acre's. lol, I didnt get very far, And I was very afraid to leave as I done drew attention. I was all good, because all I used was my probe and bulls eye. I managed to clean that spot 95% I left some. I had too... I had to get some food and rest muh aching back. shewww

I am checking the dates, I have went thru the quarters and I might have seen one 1963 quarter. all them quarters and just one.. and it might have been 1965

That's one of the best clad counts for one hunt that I've seen in a long time! Congrats!

When I'm hunting the parking meters, I'll usually squat/kneel down when I hit a target, and then make some sweeps and retrieve what I can reach while I'm down there to save some energy... and I still go home after these hunts feeling put up wet, and after my last one, my thighs were absolutely killing me the next day (but I will say that they're feeling pretty firm) ...

One of these days I'd like to get someone to do some video documentation of my easement hunts... just don't know anyone with a camera near me...
