Default Scored at the bank again today.

Went to the bank today to cash a check. My favorite teller says come here I got something for you. She said someone dropped these off to her yesterday and she saved them for me. As always I thanked her very kindly. She is always saving the goods for me. They are 2 1964 halfs and a 1937 Mercury dime...Thats why I always send her a christmas card. All that silver for the whoping price of $1.10

Wow that teller really treats you right G.F. being I think silver is worth somewhere around ten times face value, I would buy her gift certificate for nearby restaurant she might even keep her eyes more open for you!
Chick!

Thumbs up Great bank contact!

That is really neat to have someone looking out for you at the bank. In answer to a previous conjecture of worth this site gives current melt value of coins, both clad and silver:
Current Melt Value Of Coins - How Much Is Your Coin Worth?
The 1964 Kennedy half is worth $5.86 and a mercury dime is worth $1.17 (so is the Roosevelt dime).
You are getting real bargains at the bank.
