Default Beach Hunting here in NC

Hey all....

went out today to Wrightsville Beach, NC for about an hour and a half... was chilly, but its supposed to rain tomorrow and maybe even some snow flurries tomorrow night.... wow... cant wait LOL

anyway... found some steel bottle caps, some clad, looks like a silver ankle bracelet not sure yet...

the canabus (spelling) leaf is chrome plated... I found a UFO at about 6"

the toe ring is silver (Yeah first of the year for me) its stamped on the inside, but cant read it until I clean it up a bit.....

that was my all to short MDing trip today....

later all

Some real interesting finds. The most interesting thing I found today was two pennies stuck together in the same hole. Keep it up and HH.

WTG JT...... Silver is always good! The little guy in the UFO probably had the "Pot Leaf" around his neck!!!

Looks like a good day to me! Congrats on the silver! I like the UFO very different.

MXT huh? How do like that machine? I hear good things about it. Good luck with the spider coil, Beale.

hey thanks James and beale

I havent hit the beaches around here as much as I would like to.... but come spring.. will be more...

ya WB is a hot spot... so is Carolina Beach... its the party beach around here.. then we have Kure beach down near fort fisher....

I previously owned a whites 5900 Di Pro and a whites Surf PI pro and sold them both to get the MXT....

I not only do beach searching, but also relic and hopefully this summer some prospecting, so I felt this was a good overall machine for all three persuts

Its a little jumpy around wet sand, but works great on dry sand... the discrimination control works very well....

Im hoping for a little more sensitivity with the new 12" spider coil.... can only wait and see.. I should have it by wed of next week....

Hope to post more msgs and finds in the very near future..

thanks
JT
