Default 3/22 - 2 Silver rings and a 64 dime

Got out today for about 4 hours... had a much better day than yesterday!

$4.83 total.... one 64 Rosie, and 2 big silver rings... one is older and broken, but the other one is beautiful and is in really nice shape

Will try and have pics up in a bit...

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days... been out a few times, haven't really kept track of my stuff, but I've been averaging about $5 a trip... nothing old, maybe a few wheats...

Today went out and hit a park I haven't hit before... think it's mid 50's, but I didn't find anythng there older than 70's... pretty sure it's been filled - parts have that black, sticky dirt, and the grass is so thick and hard to get thru...

But as I was heading for a sand volleyball court that looked promising, I got a hit, and probed up a surface quarter... by this time I hadn't found but maybe .30¢... did the perfunctory re-sweep, and still got a hit... well, I kept picking out coins from a 1'-square area for maybe 10 minutes... 6 quarters, a handful of dimes and pennies, and a few nickles... it ain't silver, but I do love that lump in my coin pouch! Ended up the day with $4.32, and 83 coins - not too bad... may hit the park again, may not...

Still trying to figure out what I want to hunt for... old silver, or gold... gold is SO hard to find, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding anywhere to hunt that's got the possibility of having silver...

Hi,

Never been to your area Robert so I don't know what to tell you on detecting spots. Are you able to drive out of the city and start detecting old romote churches and schools &n parks?

Sounds like you have been doing really great, glad to see your spirits up. The golf course should produce the gold. My husband always takes his wedding band off to hit so I bet a ton of wedding rings get lost over a lifetime of golf. Try each of the teeboxes and putting greens.
