Default Another 'eh' hunt, but silver this time

Well, my buddy and I hooked up again today and hunted at Camp Ben McCulloch (Historical Projects) (Benjamin McCulloch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Well, he warned me it was trashy, and he wasn't kidding... and with my ancient BH 101, it was really hard to get a decent signal.... I had to actually turn my disc. (and sens.) down in order to take some of the stress off the circuitry... that just necessitates hitting a lot more signals... and the main criteria for digging was repeatable, not necessarily good...

Anyway, I was getting frustrated, and was only able to find a couple of Zlincolns, and I moved down toward the creek... near an old iron pole/fence I got what I thought was another screwcap signal, and out popped a lovely silver pendant (pic tomorrow)... it looks to be from the 40's...

Other than that, I only found a few more clad coins (a couple of them quarters down in the riverbed gravel, about 6")... but I got to walk around a really old site, and I learned that the main guy there (that my buddy knows well) is a high-up in the Sons of the Confederacy - so maybe now I have a lead in getting interest in my CW Series!

Anyway, somewhat of a good day...
