Default Good finds today and a first!!!!

Well, after the tornado watch ended, the sun came out and 66 degrees. Went ovar the the empty lot where I found the barber dimes, IH, and wheats. Started digging trash to get it out of the way. Right away I saw gold flicker in a hole. My heart skipped, but it was gold aluminum foil. Dug several pull tabs at about 1-2 inches, and while diggin a "pull-tab" out pops my first "V" nickle. 1911 to be exact. It was within 10 feet of where I dug the Barbers. I walked to the side of the street by the sidewalk after a while, and dug another "pull-tab"/bottlecap. Out comes a 1948 nickle, a 1944 Wheaty, and a 1947 Wheaty all in the same hole. About this time the wind kicked up to about 40 MPH and the temp dropped about 15 degrees in 5 min. Cold front comin in. So I gathered my spoils and walked home. Also found a bullet, and some iron tag of some sort. Anyway, I had a good day. Didn't get blown away by a tornado, and I dug some old stuff.

Nice finds. I would have to say my heart would skip a beat or 2 if I saw that gold in a hole I was digging.
