Saturday 9th Feb
Went out yesterday with a few friends,we'd had a hard frost the night before but it wasn't long before the sun came up and those rays were warm,the temperature was about 60 and it wasn't long before the coats and gloves were taken off.
It was new fields we were visiting and we wandered around and no-one was getting any signals,we were into about an hour and a half when I got a pull tab...............relief, at least I knew my machine was working.  Then 10 minutes later out came Silver..........it was a medical implement...it has an Ear scoop one end and a Nail cleaner the other and I believe it is Roman............I have looked in my books,but there is one on ebay at the moment. Unfortunately it is bent but otherwise perfect. 3 pics at different angles.
