I have heard of ready fork..my uncle talks about it..this is where I was meaning..
I haven'nt been yet but want to go just for the look back into the history..

I think that it is closed to anyone wanting to prospect and is only open for tours at this time. They do have a sluice outside where you can purchase buckets.
Long ago when I was in my teens we used to metal detect and mine there a bit.
