Pappy, those are really beautiful! Some of them look like you polished them, too. Very nice

Default None Polished

NOPE...None of them have been polished as of yet...All raw just like they came out of the ground.

That's pretty amazing. What kinds of places were these found? I know you've gone to a few of those places where you can buy a bucket and go through it to find stones, but I also know you pack it up and go huntin' in the woods, too.

Default Finds

Believe it or not pris, Most of those that are pictured came from the woods, creeks and fields around my home. I love just getting out in the woods and walking the creeks and river to see what I may come across.

The sodalite and tigereye came from Hiddenite North Carolina and a few of the other stones came from creeks near there.

The Large Quartz in the upper left corner came from the Little River about 1 mile from my house and it is a Gold Bearing piece. I intend to go back this summer and see how much gold I can find in the area where it came from...CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SPRING !!!

HEY BERT-BERT...Hope you are up to doing some creeking this Spring ! I'M READY !

Oh man, that sounds like so much fun. I remember the photos from last year when Boobie came to visit. I hope you find that elephant this year.
