Sonja...I have thought I had found everything at a site before and return later and find something new a few times...thinking I thought I got it all...I would also say besided needing to get the coil over it...it would also have to do with how charged your batteries are with the detector...Congrats on sniffing out the Indian!!!

You would really have to talk with someone else on the acetone...but I recall...it said on the forum here, not to use the acetone that had the different coloring or additives...I would think regular fingernail polish is plain acetone...but maybe the bottle labled acetone...is stronger...for removing acrilyc nails...Not my experteeze here...so maybe post on questions and tips or ask Pappy...Don't want to steer you wrong!!!
I just go with the straight acetone...Believe you can get it at Wal-Mart...

Happy hunting...rain has cleared and shall return today...

Was able to return yesterday for more exploring...out popped two more silver...52D and 58D a couple of wheats and a Buffalo and a ring in the worst shape I have ever seen...and man it has 18KT as marking...Well I went from...it's just a junk ring to...wow...18KT...to electroplate
Isn't life a rollar coaster ride!!! lol!!!
Well I got that buffalo

Finds are slowing down and very far and few in between...but still pulling a few...wanted to show what I pulled out of this one area!!!
Hope you all have enjoyed pics!!!

I think it is getting time to invest in that larger coil!!!

Wow, I have to say that was a veritable carnival ride of finds. You know you've lived something what so many of us, to date, have only dreamed about experiencing. When you spoke of your excitement about hitting it a second and third day I felt the rush of anticipation right along with you. Those mercs look so sweet. Independant of its value there's something mythical about that coin. Congrats on all of your wonderful finds.
