Default finding the deep ones the others had missed

I went to the oldest street in the city I live in yesterday. I had hunted in the grounds of this old house before and found only some zinc pennies and an old Canadian coin which had been badly blistered in a fire. It was the size of a two cent piece, but I could see nothing other than Canada on it. I started swinging my detector, and I got a VDI reading of 19, with the DFX, that's oftena nickel. It was only down an inch or less. I couldn't believe I found my first V Nickel. This sight was hunted out a long time ago. The folks before me were great as they took all the trash out of the ground as well as most of the old coins. The signals I got were ones moist folks would not dig. I oeuld get indications there was a nail, and in the same spot a penny, etc. I dug everything and I couldn't believe what was still there. I found five old wheat cents, not in very good shape. I ofund a 1945 S silver nickel, and an Indian Head cent. This was my first Indian Head. I found next to most of the coins, other things in the same holes. I found several 22 shells, the brass end of old shotgun shells, where the paper was gone years ago. I only found 2 pull tabs, so you know this area was cleaned up pretty good. I sure learned something about digging all potentially good signals.
Good luck everyone, hope you all find the good stuff,
