Today's beach hunt

Well as Buster said we got out to the beach today, I wore shorts & a t-shirt & boy am I glad I did, worked up quite a sweat, it was very warm out there, but nice to feel that heat, now I have a tan line at the top of my ankles where my socks were, now that's a good look, at the first beach we went to I only found 1 quarter, 1 dime, 1 nickel & 2 pennies, 1 of which was a 1957 wheat, was shocked to see that, it was worn pretty thin as you can see, about 1/3 the thickness of a regular penny, at the second beach I ended up with 4 quarters, 2 dimes, 3 nickels & 5 pennies, I also found this Matchbox Dodge Charger some kid had buried, not a bad day out, the spring breakers will be invading our city in the next 2 weeks so we should find plenty, HH all!

Glad you and Buster got out, E...the weather turned cold here again...70 degrees yesterday afternoon...and 20 degrees this morning with the wind howling and expecting 2-4 inches of snow before midnight...nice hunt!

Congratulations 'E', I've been vacationing at the beach all my life and detecting there for the last 15 or so years, and until last year never found a wheatie. Spring break is just around the corner, I'm sure you and Buster will do well!
