Found this in a 10 year old park down the street form a job.
What is it?

I've captured the Queen... RRrrrr

Says "New Pence 50"

That is the 50 new pence minted between 1969 and 1997 (1978).
It is has been withdrawn from circulation.
The reverse has Britannia and lion (new pence, words)
The obverse has the Machin head (designer)
The weight is 13.5 grams.
The composition is 75% copper, 25% nickel.
replaced in 1997 by the smaller 50 pence.
Interesting that the sides are actually curved. They are a circle with the center at the opposite apex.
