Default My First Seated!!!!

OK, so i'm still a little excited, but as some of you know, i moved into a new house a few months ago, and the last few days its been raining so most of the snow is gone. the ground is still very hard but i decided to give it a shot. i was in the wooded area on the side of my house and i noticed what seemed to be a path. i was going along when i got a good, high signal and dug. it was very hard to dig and i ended up breaking my shovel. eventually a little silver disc popped out and i saw the wreath on the back with "one dime" on the inside. It was still a little dark so i decided to go inside for the night and see what i had (i thought it was another barber.) i ran it under a little water to get the dirt off and i see mrs. lady liberty sitting down with a date of 1883. its a little worn, but exciting none the less. my first seated and my first 1800's silver!! i cant wait to get back out there when the ground thaws!!

ps. sorry for the bad pics but the scanner downstairs isn't hooked up so i attempted to take it with the digital camera.

Great coin grasshopper! Congrats on your first seated silver. It's in pretty good shape too! My first was an 1886, and what a feeling it was to find! HH!
